Sometimes the soap making process goes super smoothly: the oils trace without ricing or seizing, the colors swirl perfectly, and the loaf doesn't crack during gel phase.
Other times, things don't go quite right. Like this...
Yup. Totally missed the mold when pouring! What a stinkin' mess!!!
Deep breath. Laugh at the mini disaster. Clean it up.
With some self-reflection, these life lessons came to mind: Nothing good comes out of trying to speed the process along. Focus on the task at hand. And, most importantly ~ Slow. Down.
